ACS180

ACS550

0.75–355 kW, IP21/54. Industrial upgrade: 150 % overload for 60 s, built-in DC choke, brake chopper and rich I/O; Profibus-DP/CANopen on board for fans, pumps, extruders and conveyors.

ACS800

1.1–2800 kW, modules (-04) or cabinets (-07). Former flagship using DTC (Direct Torque Control) for 200 % starting torque at zero speed. Rectifier, inverter and brake modules can be paralleled beyond 3 MW.

ACS880

0.75–2800 kW, wall-mount, cabinet or multi-drive. Current flagship; runs induction, synchronous, servo and PM motors. DTC, STO, multi-encoder ports, multiple buses and safe-PLC are standard; plug-in power, control and communication modules for process, mining, marine and crane duties.

ACS1000 / 1000i (medium voltage)

315–5000 kW, 2.3–4.16 kV. Air-cooled or integrated-input-transformer cabinet; DTC control delivers sinusoidal output without filter. Fuseless design, footprint <1 m2, harmonics below IEEE 519. Widely used for power-plant pumps, compressors and mine hoists.

• 0.37–22 kW: fan/pump loads → 280/310; machinery → 355/380.

• 30 kW pump retrofits → start with 510; need 150 % overload or field-bus redundancy → step up to 550.

• 100 kW industrial lines or need sync/regen → go straight to 880; legacy spares → stay on 800.

• 315 kW MV motors: ACS1000 gives a “no-motor, no-cable-change” turnkey medium-voltage retrofit.
